Our Approach

Young people are often asked to understand people who are different from them before they have been given the space to understand themselves.

We Are Enough creates interactive, story-centered programs that help students explore who they are, recognize the value of their own experiences, and become more curious about the people around them.

Our programs begin with identity, reflection, and conversation. We believe meaningful connection grows when students feel seen, listen closely, and discover that every person, including themselves, has a story worth understanding.

Our programming now serves both elementary and high school students through developmentally appropriate experiences designed to build confidence, empathy, and connection across difference.

Our Story

Samantha and Kabir have been friends since kindergarten. For much of their lives, adults have commented on how different they are, often wondering aloud how their personalities do not clash.

What others saw as a mismatch became one of the most important relationships in both of their lives. It showed them how much can be lost when difference is treated as a reason to keep people apart.

In 2022, while students at Brien McMahon High School, Samantha and Kabir turned that idea into We Are Enough. What began as a school project grew into an elementary classroom program centered on identity, storytelling, and connection.

Since then, We Are Enough has expanded into programming for both elementary and high school students. Samantha and Kabir continue to develop each program together, drawing from their own experiences, what they hear from students and educators, and the questions they wish more young people had the space to explore.

Samantha Przybisiki (She/Her)

Samantha is a student at Brandeis University studying Politics and Near Eastern and Judaic Studies. Her work centers on education, identity, student leadership, and helping young people feel more confident in using their voices.

Outside of school, she has brought her work to national audiences as a speaker, including at the U.S. Department of Education, and as a co-author and narrator of the Anti-Defamation League’s Awareness to Action curriculum.

Through We Are Enough, Samantha brings together her belief in storytelling and her commitment to creating spaces where young people feel comfortable being honest and curious.

Kabir Kalia (He/Him)

Kabir is a current senior at Syracuse University studying neuroscience and psychology and looking to pursue a career in the medical field, with a focus in pediatrics and psychology.

Outside of school, he's interested in the intersection of childhood empathy with their experiences in environments such as sports. He works as a camp counselor, EMT, and wherever he can help foster community in Norwalk, with an ultimate goal of bringing people together.

Through We Are Enough, Kabir brings together his passion for working with kids and community building to secure an equitable and community based future for the next generation.
